On October 9, 2026, our warehouse welcomed the first 308 TS-1 electric motorcycles from our latest shipment. Just eight days later, on October 24, we began handing over motorcycles to customers who had completed their remaining payments, with more than 150 customers receiving their bikes.
For us, this is more than a shipment arriving. It is a milestone worth celebrating — one that reflects the demand for the TS-1, the confidence our customers have placed in Dodai, and the progress we continue to make in bringing electric mobility to more people.
And we are only getting started.
308 Motorcycles. Fully Booked Before Arrival.
When went out of stoke in July 2026, we knew that customers interested in the TS-1 would have to wait for our next shipment. Rather than leave prospective buyers without a clear way to secure their motorcycles, we introduced a booking process that allowed them to reserve their place in the incoming stock.
The response was remarkable: all 308 motorcycles in our first shipment were booked before they arrived.
This achievement speaks to the interest in the TS-1 and the confidence customers showed by committing to their purchases ahead of delivery. For us, every booking represented more than a number. It represented a customer making plans, anticipating a new ride, and choosing Dodai to be part of that journey.
Seeing the first shipment arrive with all 308 motorcycles already booked made this milestone particularly meaningful.
From an Unexpected Delay to a Long-Awaited Arrival
Our journey to this milestone did not follow the original timeline.
We initially expected the shipment to arrive at the end of September. However, an unexpected typhoon affecting China disrupted the shipping schedule, pushing the arrival into October.
We understand that when you book a motorcycle, you are not simply waiting for a product. You may be planning to use it for work, support your business, or make everyday travel easier. When a shipment takes longer than expected, that waiting period can bring understandable questions and uncertainty.
We recognize that our customers had to wait longer than anticipated, and we appreciate the patience they showed throughout the process.
On October 9, the motorcycles finally arrived at our warehouse. The moment marked the end of the shipment’s journey to Ethiopia and the beginning of the next stage: getting the bikes into the hands of the customers who had booked them.

The arrival of our first 308 TS-1 motorcycles on October 9 and the beginning of customer handovers on October 24 mark a proud moment for Dodai.
We set out to fulfill the bookings made during our stock shortage, and we are now seeing that commitment translate into motorcycles reaching their new owners. With more than 250 customers already receiving their bikes and another 692 motorcycles on the way, we have plenty more to look forward to.
We are proud of how far we have come, grateful to the customers who have been part of this journey, and excited about what comes next.
