Job Summary: We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Junior Battery Swappers to join our growing operations team in Addis Ababa. As a Junior Battery Swapper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our electric two-wheeler riders have seamless access to fully charged batteries. Utilizing our user-friendly mobile application, you will support customers in need of a battery swap and efficiently exchange their depleted battery for a fully charged one. This role requires excellent time management, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:- Perform Battery Swaps: Execute battery swaps within 2 minutes per transaction, using the Dodai mobile app to record and verify each exchange.
- Customer Support at Station: Greet every rider warmly and make them feel valued. Provide clear instructions, assist with any questions, and troubleshoot basic issues such as app errors or incorrect battery insertion. Your goal is to ensure every rider leaves with a positive impression of Dodai’s service and proudly recommends our brand to others.
- Inventory Tracking: Monitor and record the number of charged, depleted, or faulty batteries at your station. Flag shortages or overstock to your supervisor.
- Battery Charging & Handling: Place depleted batteries on the charging rack according to safety procedures. Disconnect and store fully charged batteries in their designated slots.
- Daily Equipment Check: Inspect chargers, tools, and the battery rack for functionality. Immediately report any malfunctions or damage.
- Safety Compliance: Wear gloves and follow safety procedures at all times. Ensure the station is clean and hazard-free.
- Reporting: Log issues such as damaged batteries, misbehaving app functions, or customer complaints and share with your supervisor daily.
- Flexible Tasks: Assist in minor repairs, restocking, or setting up new swapping stations as needed.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Perform other tasks as directed by your supervisor
- Degree (Only 2025/2026 Graduate)with relevant knowledge or training in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven ability to use mobile applications confidently and accurately in a work environment (e.g., for deliveries, ride-hailing, or logistics). This is a critical skill for operating the battery swapping system.
- Must have android smart phone
- The Employee’s normal working working time shall be eight (8) hours per day, to be performed within the time window of 6:00AM -10:00PM.

The Master Charging Station Supervisor/Electrical Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and disciplined operation of Dodai’s battery charging facility. This role leads charging station technicians, ensures batteries are charged and dispatched according to operational requirements, maintains safety and quality standards, and supports continuous improvement of charging operations. This is a hands-on supervising role requiring strong operational oversight, people management, and a safety-first mindset.Key Responsibilities
Operational & Charging Responsibilities
- Supervise daily charging station operations to ensure safe and uninterrupted battery charging activities.
- Plan and coordinate battery flow to maintain required inventory levels for swap stations.
- Monitor charging schedules, battery turnaround time, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper segregation and management of charged, uncharged, quarantined, and faulty batteries.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum: Diploma / TVET / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience in operations, warehouse, charging facility, manufacturing, or technical supervision roles.
- Prior experience supervising teams preferred.
- Experience working with lithium batteries, energy systems, or technical operations is an advantage.

Purpose of the Position
The Junior Hardware Engineer for Dodai will be part of the Hardware Engineering team and will be responsible for performing research and development of our products to ensure that our hardware meets the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle field testing and collect, analyze, and report performance data.

Purpose of the Position
The Warehouse Coordinator (Level 2) is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant warehouse data management, with strong ownership of the ERP/WMS system, inventory controls, and operational reporting. The role acts as a key operational link between warehouse execution, finance, production, and logistics by maintaining system integrity, supporting audits, and improving warehouse processes.Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Warehouse Operations
- Oversee day-to-day inventory accuracy for raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and consumables.
- Ensure all inbound, outbound, and internal inventory movements are properly documented and recorded in the ERP/WMS system.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and proactively trigger replenishment or escalation when thresholds are breached.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, preparing financial statements, conducting analysis, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory management, applicable tax laws and financial reporting standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Prepare schedule for provision calculations in line with IFRS guidelines
- Preparation of monthly management accounts to ensure desired KPIs are tracked
- Cost Accounting & Inventory Management:
- Oversee cost accounting processes, including job costing and variance analysis.
- Track inventory levels, cost of goods sold (COGS), and prepare cost build worksheets for imports
- Conduct periodic inventory audits and support inventory reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Cost Accounting & Inventory Management:

Success in this role is measured by the number of qualified sites sourced, the speed of identifying potential locations, and the quality of sites that progress to acquisition and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential sites for battery swapping stations across Addis Ababa City Administration and Sheger City Administration.
