go supperapp joins Ethiopia's hyperlocal market with 100 Dodai Battery Swapping Bikes

Go SuperApp Announcement

Addis Ababa’s on-demand economy is moving faster than ever, and its infrastructure is officially shifting gear. GO Super App, one of the city’s up and coming multi-service platforms, has taken delivery of 100 custom-branded Dodai TS-1 swappable motorbikes to power its expanding delivery and logistics network.

Meeting the High Demands of a "Super App"

For an on-demand platform offering services like food delivery, courier transit, and e-commerce logistics, delivery speed and fleet availability dictate success. Every minute a rider spends off the road is a lost transaction.

The core advantage of this fleet rollout lies in the battery-swapping model. For high-volume on-demand platforms, standard plug-in electric vehicles are impractical because waiting hours for a battery to recharge keeps riders idle. With Dodai’s infrastructure, a GO Super App driver can seamlessly sustain operations throughout the day. When a battery runs low, the rider visits any strategically placed swapping station across the capital, exchanges the depleted lithium-ion unit for a fully charged one in under two minutes, and immediately returns to fulfilling customer orders.

As Dodai continues to expand its battery-swapping network across the city, large-scale deployments like this confirm that sustainable corporate logistics are no longer a future concept—they are actively driving business growth today.
